The May 2021 edition of the conference of Cracow University of Technology "Defining architectural space - The truth and lies of architecture 2021" was an atypical one. Due to the pandemic, the conference could not be held in November as usual so the organizers, participants and long-time regulars found another date: the conference was held remotely on 28 May 2021.
The speakers sent their recorded speeches, which were then moderated and translated in real time (simultaneous translation in English). Thanks to this, the conference ran smoothly. It even included the inauguration of an exhibition of paintings of one of the panellists!
The challenge was to put all the recorded speeches together (this was done perfectly by the organizers) and to translate them (the quality of the recordings varied: different acoustics, speakers not using proper microphones, etc. .
That is why we are waiting for this year's November edition in real life 🙂
