ANGOS ensured comprehensive language and technical support during International Scientific Conference

Between November 23rd and 24th 2018, Kraków hosted the seventeenth International Scientific Conference entitled Defining the Architectural Space. The keynote topic of this year’s edition was “Rationalistic or Intuitive Way to Architecture”. The Conference was co-organised by the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning in Warsaw.

The idea to organise the conference emerged in 2001, on the initiative of Professor Maria Misiągiewicz, the then head of the Institute of Architectural Design of the Cracow University of Technology. The annual meetings of architects and theoreticians of art from all over the world are always a great occasion to talk about architecture and exchange views and theories on the fast transitions in the contemporary architectural reality. The subjects discussed in previous years include, among others, the limits of architecture, the role or architectural material and details, architectural work in the space of a contemporary city or the Vitruvius’ theory in the contemporary context.
