Like every year, on 1 October the Jagiellonian University celebrated inauguration of a new academic year. The main ceremony, attended by regional and local authorities, PMs, Kraków’s academic community and representatives of the diplomatic corps and of the world of culture and education, was held in Auditorium Maximum UJ. It was traditionally opened with a holy mass at the Church of St. Anne, followed by a colourful parade of the University’s professors along city streets.
As part of the inauguration, Jagiellonian Laurels, the Rector’s awards, were given to Prof. Tomasz Guzik in the field of medical sciences and to Prof. Jerzy Jurkiewicz in the field of exact and natural sciences. The ceremony was closed by Prof. Ryszard Markiewicz, who gave a lecture entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property”.
Being given the chance to provide interpreting services during events is always a great distinction for us. We ensure professional simultaneous interpreters and the necessary equipment, i.e. booths and headsets. Our technicians organise and supervise the whole process of assembly and disassembly of the sound system, rightly setting all parameters and ensuring the optimum volume.
We offer simultaneous interpreting in a number of languages, including English, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish and German.
